If so, have you ever heard of any of them living in Canada?

Lebanon has not been a monarchy. It was part of Syria. In the Great War, the Arabs were promised a united Arab state from the Mediterranean to the Gulf, which would have included Lebanon. This promise was betrayed, after the Arabs had fought and died for the Allied cause.

After the war, Britian and France wanted to maintain their control over the lands they were denying to the Arabs in spite of their promises. Lebanon was kept subservient to the French. But while the British set up puppet monarchies, such as their king of the new entity called Iraq, the French, being a republic themselves, prefreed republican status for Lebanon. So no royal family.

Nope No royal family

We were phoenicians before we were lebanese and the Phoenician city-states each had some form of leaders but I don't think the bloodlines were very well kept track of.. one day they were probebly in control, the next they were being taken over. (either way we're talking VERY early times before, during and after the time of christ)

we, as lebanese and phoenicians, are invaded so much that there is mostly someone else from far away ruling... ^^

as for currently... no royal blood lines

maybe what you're talking about is families of current politicians living in canada

hope this helps

Lebanon has never been a kingdom. It was a province of Syria before becoming a colony of France. Since gaining independence, Lebanon has always been a republic.
