Jonathan Ross ( a British film reviewer/tv presenter ) said that it was the first time he'd gone to a preview screening of a comedy and not one person laughed the entire time. He said he felt uncomfortable watching it.

If you like Eddie Murphy, you should like it. He's good in it. But of course, the movie is pretty silly and not exactly Oscar-worthy.
But if you're in the mood to laugh and have fun, it should be good.
