rob pertersen engineering (check their website) will make you an open topped 1930's sports car with a 27litre merlin (Spitfire) engine.... they are hand made at around £250,000. They have a 2nd hand 6 litre version for sale at £180,000 !!!
Jay Leno has a car with an old tank engine in it - thats huge as well

I think I know.. In the sixties there was a guy that built a Rolls Royce with a RR Merlin engine in it. If I'm correct, that was 26 litres with a crazy 9feet long block.
