My LCD tv has an "RS232C" PC-input. How do I connect my laptop to this?

How do I connect my laptop to my LCD HDTV through the VGA output (traditional 15 pin connector) on my laptop, to the "RS232C" PC-input on my tv?

Please help!

You can’t, the RS232 might be for set-up or control by wire facilities. Assuming that the TV has an HDMI connector, you can buy a VGA/HDMI converter which appear to be quite expensive. Other option is usually lower quality S-Video.

RS-232 is a serial cable connection. It's becoming obsolute. If the laptop is a newer model, you probably don't have the proper connection.
