Foolishness means - resulting from or showing a lack of sense; ill-considered; unwise: a foolish action, a foolish speech.

So when one says that "it is the height of foolishness" they mean that they have never seen or heard something this foolish.

So think of the most foolish thing that you have heard or seen and that would be the height of foolishness for you. :-)

Voting for a president you then spend the next 4 years complaining about

Lighting a match to find a gas leak

Proving a gun is empty by pointing it at yourself and pulling the trigger

Claiming any ship is unsinkable

Standing on the roof of your houst with cardboard "wings" duct taped to your back.

Realizing the pair of boxers at the end of your girlfriends bed aren't yours but you stay with her anyway.

While being pulled over by a cop you ask him to take you home because your high as a kite and drunk as a skunk.

Beating up a little kid on Halloween and stealing their candy because you have the munchies.

Fat people in spandex.

heard this on TV last night. Unbeleivably, a parent coaxed a bear into the cab of his car with his child so he could take a picture from the front of the car looking in!!!
