That's not globalization at all...

Globalization is meant for development. It has benefitted the country with better technology, boosting economy, etc.

but when it comes to Indians, there's a problem with the attitude of the people. We wanna catch up our desires tagging the act as modernization. Do you think fashion has really got anything to do with upliftmewnt of society? Liberty in sex has anything to do with upliftment of the society? People just give a lame excuses for their silly acts.

Can anyone explain - Why wearing aum is supertitious and wearing cross is cool? Why an english speaking guy is considered modern but a hindi speaking guy is primitive? Why arranged marraiges are looked down upon in comparision to live-in relationships, inspite of the fact that success rate of arranged marriages in India are far higher that love marraiges? Why we adore them when they wear saree, but wanna go for revealing outfits for ourselves? Why sunday school is a must to them, but going to temples is primitive thought for us? Why they can be proud parents of six, while we are considered uncultured sex maniacs if we have three? The bottomline is, why do we believe what they speak about us? The whole globe is slowly turning towards our own Indian culture, adopting our traditions. I even heard of a lady, coming to India and getting married in accordance to Indian customs cos she believed that it would unite her with her mate for eternity. But we could never value our own heritage and it's teachings.

All the best...

:-)

globalisation is effecting evry country and every individual. if u see the most populated country like india and china people r migrating to all parts of world adn the whole race is witnessing a great chnage. a african getting married to american, an indian getting married to a chinese. what not. i fu look deeper into the culture change in present wordl. we will go mad. world is going to a stage where there is no single culture and race. its all a mixture of all races and culture. so it is definitely affecting india. there is nothing in our hand
for exampe assume u r a hindu suth india and getting married to a christian white girl. which culture and tradition will ur child follow. it wud be a combinaton of both right. so is there a name for the new culture ur kid wud follow. no right. so there will be a day when nobody wud bother too much about culture, cast creed religion and all other stuff.

Adopting any thing good do not affect the culture. If a culture is real, true than it is strong enough to stand against fake and artificial way or conduct of life.
