how do I install 256 color resolution back on my computer?

the color on my comp, got erased I now have 32 colors I guess.

i think you are talking about 32bit color depth. resolution is define in 1024x768 or 800x600 pixels,if you are running on 32 bit thats the highest depth you can get.

You need to go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers for the video card.

Once you install them, you can then go into display properties and change the color depth and resolution.
