I am a Sales and Leasing Consultant w/ Infiniti and some of my customers are seeking information about this particular luxury sedan (full-size) that had been discontinued back in 2006. There have been rumors that it may come back in 2008 0r 2009.

It doesn't look like it will be coming back in 2008, how have M45 sales been I wonder? I do see that Infiniti has 2 new SUV models coming out in 2008, so they'll be left with more trucks then cars in their line-up. I don't think that is a good thing, maybe they will discontinue the FX35

I'm not completely sure whether Infiniti will put the Q back in the line-up but I doubt they will. One of the reasons is because of the M that took it's spot. The M is now considered as the flagship luxury sedan for Infiniti, at least for now. However, Infiniti might drastically redesign the Q and bring it back since the M cannot competently battle with cars such as the BMW 7-Series, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the Lexus LS. Nevertheless the Q needed either a major redesign or a kick out, and obviously Infiniti opted for the kick.

I have no idea but if they do I hope it's an improvement. I have a 1999 Infiniti Q45t and that body style is beautiful. When they went to the bubble style in 2002, it fell off. Looked like a super high end Ford Taurus at that point.
