How early is TOO early to test? I was supposed to start my period March 2nd, I think anyways. I just had a baby in November so I don't know if that could mess things up. But I started on the January 2nd and February 2nd but not March 2nd?
So how early is to early?

I'm not breastfeeding, but since I just had a baby, can my period still not be right? Only problem there is my last two were not late and I've never been late before.

Go ahead and take a test, because it sounds like it might set your mind at ease. Some of the nicer tests say they can detect the hormone at a week late. Good luck.

Being prego can mess up a lot of things. Right now I would say it's too early. Try towards the end of the month. It's also a chance a slim one, but it is that since you were prego not that long ago that it may come back + and really be -. Slim but it can happen. Another thing, is you can get a false - but rarely will you get a false +. Take a test in a week or so.

Most doctors recommend that you test two week after having unprotected sex. I think thats a bit too early still. if you have a regular cycle and u CAN wait then wait until u know when ur periods are due and if u dont c it then take the test. Not seeing your period dosent necessarily mean that u are pregnant ur period could be late or missing for several reasons e.g u stressing out urself wondering if you are or not pregnant, so just hang in there and wait or take it 2weeks are having sex.

Well first of all remember that Feb. only had 28 days in it so if it is a little later than that would be pretty normal, and if you are breastgeeding this could play a role in how you menstrate I know that after I had my last son he was too born in Nov. I had two periods after his birth ( he's 3) and then none until I stopped nursing him at 16mnths. so I would wait a little maybe another week and if no period then just take a test but like I said if you are nursing there is a good chance that you won't get a period until you wean

I've worked in a pregnancy clinic for 10 yrs. Go get a free pregnany test from a clinic. I can get you the number of one near you. If you are breast feeding that can make your periods off track...you could go without a period for months.

You could safely test now. Mar 5 would give you a 31 day cycle. Good luck
