Evil men somehow seem to mange their way into higher positions while so many good men couldn't. E.g Hitler. How can we weed out them?

Too much pay and perks. Make all perks unlawful and pay them way less. Then only he who really wants to serve the people will apply.

It's not a certain you can keep them out. The most you can do is look into anyone that wishes for power, i.e. president. Don't refer to stations like Fox News, CNN, or other political stations, because they are mainly extremist bias stations. The best thing is to research online, read, and such about the people and what they're about.

It is hard...there are a lot of people who supported Bush that now realized how much he's NOT for the people of the United States!

Unfortunately Politics attracts characters who are greedy for power. It's how you become a celebrity if you're an ugly person.

The Greeks original idea of democracy was to have a training establishment for future politicians. They would be trained in how to govern wisely from childhood.

Perhaps this would stop some of the power seeking wannabees. But what you do with the crazy dictators apart from assassination I don't know.

Anybody who wants to be a politician should not be allowed to be one. People who rise to power in political parties are by definition devious, power mongering and ruthless. You don't get to the top by being a nice guy.

Of course when they get there the old adage of power corrupts takes hold and things get worse. Look at Tony sure he was probably a nice enough guy when he got in power (wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him but not the worst by any means), made that great statement about not wanting to send British troops into war etc Every year since bar one of his reign British troops have been sent off to fight.

Everyone ambitious enough to get in power wants to leave a dynasty for others to remember them by which makes them do stupid things by and large. Frankly I don't mind if my political leaders get involved in sex scandals or rip off a bit of money on the side, as long as they are doing that the country is in no real danger. Look at Clinton certainly my favourite US president of recent years, to busy on the take to cause any serious problems and a nice period of stability while he was in control.

So errr in short you can't. You elect from a shortlist and chances are everyone on that shortlist is character flawed in some way. Just have to pick the lesser of the evils really.

Your significant question and the explanatory note are contradictory. regardless of the truth that the President is the genuine of State and the total Commander of Ara med Forces, in our equipment, the genuine of the government, i.e the finest Minister is more suitable efficient, as he runs the familiar concerns of the government., and is answerable to the Parliament. So, the PM growing to be a President isn't a merchandising for him and in my view, no PM will favor to develop into president after quitting his placed up. Even now, the PM Manmohan Singh isn't between the contenders for the President's placed up. If besides the undeniable fact that, the Congress party needs to make him the President, it will be to make Rahul Gandhi the PM through the again door.

Simple. Make it possible for the average man to run for office. It now takes a multi-millionaire to run and have a chance.

The other way is to never vote for incumbants. That way the pool of candidates may gradually change to real men/women, not professional politicians.

Dont vote them in, ie bush and blair,.

Hitler was very different and a genius compared to current politicians. His tactics of turning the whole population to his thinking, to gain power, using the low moral of the depression in the late 1920s as tool. Clearly a mad genius, but clever none the less, but thats religion for you.

Not as easy as it seems folks.

If you KNOW that the person has behaved unlawfully, expose them to the press presumably this means guilty of something.

Nobody knew Hitler was as evil as he became and neither can we prove the guilt of anyone who has not been convicted.

Put yourself up as a candidate along with as many like minded people as you can find. Wash them out.
