I am trying to find a list of medical inventions??

I need the date of some important inventions used in medicine. I found one on Wikipedia, but it's not considered credible for an essay. please help!!!

Use your list from wikipedia to give you the names of the inventions and the inventors, then go google them or look them up in encyclopaedia brittanica

For instance ...

If you were to look up the inventor of the plastic disposable syringe from the list of medical equipment and find the page for it and see that Mr Phil Brooks invented it ... it gives the patent number and such. Google Phil Brooks and syringe and see what you get.

A government website shows the year of patent issue


Just because the wikipaedia isn't reputable enough for your project doesn't mean you can't use it as a jumping point for finding info you can get from more reputable sources later :)

Depends on the invention. You can search by the name, or go to the library and use an old fashioned encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not a reliable source of information. Also, many Universities are patent holders thanks to their medical research.
