My sister has her school project due, she needs to make crystals and she choose to make sulpher crystals, we have found some information but none of it is working, we do every step right and they still wont grow!!
Has anyone made them? and if so could you please give me some good guildlines to work with and how long it took to grow etc!?!?!

I should of explained it more, its nothing like that, we need it to grow up a string of rope in a Jar!

You don't grow them, you make them all at once. A standard practical for UK students used to be making monoclinic sulphur. You heat solid sulphur until it melts, and then pour it into a cone of folded filter paper. When cooled a bit, you open it up and there are needles of monoclinic sulphur. To get crystals of rhombic sulphur, you would have to evaporate slowly a solution of sulphur dissolved in an organic solvent, which has all sorts of toxicity and fire hazards.
