No, the Big 10 was overrated, just like they are every year.

No, they didn't get lucky. They manhandled OSU. Luck is when your opponent gets one bad call or missed field goal to give you a 1-2 point win. Florida dominated OSU.

If you understood football, you'd understand why this happened. The Big Ten (those guys can't even count how many teams they have) is not prepared to compete against the superiority of the SEC. It's sad really. The talent level in the SEC is so much higher that it's embarrassing to have to humiliate a big ten school like that on national TV.

Personally I think the post season and inter conference play should be restructured so that the big ten would only have to play against conferences like Conference USA and division I-AA to keep from embarrassing themselves.

No way, everybody listen to me now! The Big Ten and everyone in it (I.E. Ohio State) is overrated. The Gators were the best team in the country. Truthfully the only team that could argue is USC. However, everyone says that the layoff hurt and all that crap, well it's not like UF played two days earlier. OSU just wasn't that good.

NO. Im not personally a fan of either team, Tar Heel fan here, but anyway in no way shape or form could the team of Ohio state dominate the SEC, me personally any team that goes undefeated in the SEC no matter the reigon should go to the BCS title game, lets not forget what happened to Auburn back in the day.

Florida outclassed OSU in every aspect of the game. And the razor sharp Gators had honed themselves all year long by playing a far tougher schedule than OSU, which played essentially a one-game season. Luck had nothing to do with it.

Ohio State was being built up by the media as the far superior team and Florida smelled blood. The Gators prepared and came in hungry and took it to em. Ohio State took it for granted they were hyped up and thought they were a shoo in for the title (they forgot they still had to play one more game to get it)

I don't think it was a matter of luck so to speak, as they were an extremely fast team. And OSU just looked flat.

But I do think with over a month lay-off before bowl games, there will never be the same outcome then if they played in the beginning of November.

No I truly believe they were better. The polls had Ohio State winning and I don't think they were better than Florida I really think they need a playoff system

As a Hardcore Buckeye Fan I am....I have to say and admit that Florida was somewhat lucky...BUT, They have been known to be all over the place on the field and fast. But what I think was a disadvantage to the Buckeyes, was the fact that they didn't play a game for more than 50days before the championship...so scrimmaging practices are good in that time frame, but they were scrimmaging against their own players...so they know how their players play and it wasn't a "fresh" scrimmage for them to take on to keep them in top form, though they are a top formed team as far as attitudes/moral amongst the players, they need to find a way to practice in a way that will keep that reputation going for them. Also the Buckeyes had lost one of their TOP players in the beginning of the game, Ginn, after spraining his ankle right after the opening of the game when he returned that first kick for the touchdown he made....that was a hard loss for the Buckeyes to lose such a prominent player!!! If Ginn was in more of the game, Florida wouldn't have been able to keep up with him as a runner, Ginn is also a star trackstar at OSU as well! Fast & agressive, he is!!
