I don't think you have an immobilizer on that car. Honda didn't start using immobilizer until the late 90s and that was on the Accords first. call your honda dealer to see if you have immobilizer on your car. my guess is that your car is cranking but not starting. most common cause is the igniter in the distributor (distributor module or sub assembly), a flooded engine, a bad distributor cap/rotor or a timing belt if the distributor is not turning. If it does have an immobilizer there is no way around it other than to have it towed to a honda dealer for reprogramming.

i won't have the capacity to locate any overall performance stats on the computerized Prizm, yet those 2 vehicles have greater or less the comparable horsepower (102 Civic and one 0 five Prizm), and weigh correct to the comparable. Assuming the two are working good (which isn't a secure assumption on a 13 year old vehicle), the distinction will come right down to the transmission. maximum automatics in 1995 have been 4 velocity, that vehicle replaced into strangled by ability of a three velocity, so a 5 velocity Civic ought to out run it actual. What could be fooling you is that throughout the time of anybody kit, the Prizm ought to pull correct to the comparable, however the gaps between the gears on the three velocity vehicle is waaaay larger than on the 5 velocity, and that harm overall performance appreciably. My wager could be approximately 2 seconds distinction, 0-60 (this replaced right into a typical distinction between sticks and automatics with small fours back then) desire this facilitates!
