Here is the situation:

A nuclear bomb is going to be detonated in 2 hour in Los Angeles.

You alone are with the bomb and you have an airplane and a pilots licence so you know how to fly it.

The bomb cannot be diffused as it has an anti-tampering device.

Option A: You fly the plane into the Mojave desert where it will detonate safely in a contained area. Obviouly though, this means you will die as it will take 2 hours to fly to the safe zone.

Option B: You leave the bomb in Los Angeles and fly the plane for 2 hours which would take you out of the bombs detonation radius. You would live, but nearly a million people would die.

These are your only options, there are no others.

What would you choose? Option A or Option B and why?

A because if I didn`t do it, I`d die along with the rest. I presume I am in L.A. at this time of course, though what I`d be doing there is a mystery! So I would accept it as fate. And I would always prefer to die with my boots on, so I`d do A (to save the innocent animal life rather than heroically save human kind.)

Option A: I would fly the plane into the Mojave desert where it will detonate safely in a contained area. I know i would die but my loved ones would live

Option A. You'd never feel it when the bomb went off anyway, save the million people, die a hero.

Option B.

I don't know anyone who lives in L.A. i prefer taking option A but seriously, i think i would be selfish at that time because it's a life and death situation, so i would be choosing option B.

SO PEOPLE DON'T GO SAYING A IF YOU ARE NOT SURE, I WOULD LOVE TO DO A TO SAVE LIVES, BUT I AM MORE LIKELY TO CHOOSE B IF I DIDN'T DO THINGS I WANTED TO YET. IT'S CALLED HUMAN NATURE.

Option A. I couldn't live with the guilt of being responsible for other people's deaths. I'd have to take the selfless option.

Option A: because I am not selfish enough to think that my life is more important than a million other people's lives.

Option A because it's honorable, and sacrificing myself to save millions of lives is very selfless.

It would be option A, so long as i can take a gun to shot myself before it goes off. Wouldn't really want to die from nuclear weapon.

Also i would want to have a chance to say goodbye to my family and especally my husband.
