What do you prefer? Gas or electric cookers and why??

electric oven and gas on top (like the hob)
electtric oven cooks cooks more equally, but a gas hob is better than electric cuz its easier

Gas are easier to cook on, but i like electric ones too. The only time we use gas cookers is when we go camping.

I like electric because when you try to cook something on low, a gas stove gives you that little flame that never fails to get the middle of the pot or pan hotter than the rest of it. On an electric stove the heat is spread throughout the element, so it gives you a more even heating process and you avoid the hot spot in the middle.

I like dual fuel. I have a gas hob as it is easier to control and you can also use the naked flame to char peppers / tomatos etc, but also an electric oven because they heat more evenly than gas ovens and don't dry the meat out.

I thought I liked gas until I got an electric one. They're much easier to clean. We just moved and we now have a gas one again and I HATE it! If anything spills I have to remove the range and stuff gets encrusted in there! I HATE IT!

Gas because it's instantly hot and when you turn it off the heat stops immediately. With electric it takes it a bit to heat up and to cool off which I don't like.

Gas are easier to cook on, but electric is safer so i'd say electric
