i know it's a really old computer, but i would like to get it going again for e-mail and stuff. i broke the hard drive a while ago and want to know what kind of hard drive it was so i can replace it
any help would be GREAT

any laptop drive should work the only probably would be getting a mountable tray compatible with your laptop model to mount it in.

The 2.5 inch drives would fit. They usually are cradled in a tin tray for mounting, but other than that, you can get the drive almost anywhere.

Pull out the old drive and look around for a comparable drive. if in doubt, go to
http://www.ibm.com/support/us/
and put in your machine type located on a barcoded sticker on the bottom of the machine. from there you can lookup replacement parts if they are still in production.

Any Laptop Hard drive will work. I have pulled 12 gig from T20 to 30 gigs from T23 all use stand laptop hard drives.

You will have to deal with Lenovo for any Upgrades:

Most of these are relatively cheap, and a Hard drive is Cheap, just have to find out the specific one to order
