How high? Mine got too high and they had to induce labor but that was because of preeclampsia. They were scared for my safety. I was 34 weeks. You need to ask a Doc on this one.

What Are the Effects of High Blood Pressure in Pregnancy?
Although many pregnant women with high blood pressure have healthy babies without serious problems, high blood pressure can be dangerous for both the mother and the fetus. Women with pre-existing, or chronic, high blood pressure are more likely to have certain complications during pregnancy than those with normal blood pressure. However, some women develop high blood pressure while they are pregnant (often called gestational hypertension).
The effects of high blood pressure range from mild to severe. High blood pressure can harm the mother's kidneys and other organs, and it can cause low birth weight and early delivery. In the most serious cases, the mother develops preeclampsia--or "toxemia of pregnancy"--which can threaten the lives of both the mother and the fetus.

If your blood pressure is monitored throughout your pregnancy and remains at an acceptable leval then probably. The bigest worry for women with high blood pressure is "pre-eclampsia". This is a very dangerous condition and would be one reason to deliver the baby pre-term.
I was able to go full term. My friend was not, she had a c-section in her 8th month because of preeclampsia.

I had preeclampsia with baby #2 and #3. I carried baby #2 to 36 weeks before being induced. Baby #3 was carried to 38 weeks and I got induced. They were both healthy. Hope this gives you hope!

Sure but if the Dr. sees a problem he may induce labor because in some cases just like gestational dibetes the only cure is delivery, The Dr. will make the best decision concerning you and your baby

Yes you can, but it is risky. You will probably require bed rest. Some times an early delivery is better for the baby than full term.

Yes you can. I did. Though I had to bed rest at home then in hospital when it got very high. If it goes way too high they will normally induce you.
Hope that helps

My girlfriend was just induced this past week because of this. She was placed on bed rest and it did nothing so they were forced to induce her at 38 weeks. I guess it depends on the scenario.
