i just bought a xbox 360 premium package for 276.99 and found out that i get a months trial of xbox live to see if i like it the thing is ive created my xbox.com account and signed in to xboxlive but i cant use it.i wanted to go on saints row on xboxlive but it said "this gamer profile is unable to play on xbox live please check your family settings or obtain an xbox live gold membership" i check on my family setting and it says that im allowed to create a membership and im allowed to go on xbox live.then i checked on xbox live controls and it says that there are no child profiles found to use xboxlive family settings please create a child profile that has xbox live or insert a memory unit which has a child profile with xbox live so could u please help me with these things
1.how to create a child profile
2.how to get a gold membership
3.tell me what ive done wrong

Check if you're really a gold member by signing in on the Xbox website itself (http://www.xbox.com).
If you're really a Gold member, then your name will have a golden background.
If not, yours will have a silver background.
You also don't need a child profile. Child profiles are only restricted profiles, so parents can tell the Xbox to not allow this account to buy stuff from the marketplace or play games that are unfit for their age.
So try to check your status on the Xbox homepage. If you don't appear there you seem to only have a local gamertag. Tell the Xbox to join Live and you want to choose the 1 Month free Gold Membership.
