How do you prevent hair bumps when you get your eyebrows or lip waxed?

I got my eyebrows and the hair above my lips done for the first time the other day and the next day hair bumps (resembling pimples) popped up on the areas that were waxed. I put alcohol on them, but is there a way to prevent them the next time i get those services done?
