The hydrogen car and the electric car. Both are older tech but they're gaining momentum.

Uhm there's technology emerging to do a direct neural interface to allow people with spinal chord injuries to move objects by thinking about it. No clue on a link for that or price point.

There's new generation prosthetics which are software guided. No clue on price of that either.

Christ there's too much to go on about, just watch educational tv and you'll see a ton.

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but I've been noticing that a lot of the newer American homes are being built with what's called, "Keyless Entry". It's not really a new technology, but it's finally affordable to the average homeowner and I'm seeing a lot of people having them installed. If the school bus drops the children off after school and mom and dad aren't home from work yet, the child doesn't have to worry about holding on to or losing the house key. That's just one example of how this technology can be a benefit. Below is a link with price and picture.

I'm quite excited about SED screen tech. Whie people are buying HD LCD Tvs in their thousands without realising how bad the picture is this new sceen is going to make them all wish they'd saved their money.
