Definitely! We also had a surplus of stage 1 baby foods when we started stage 2 and there is no harm in feeding it to her...it's just a thinner consistency so it is easier for babies to learn to eat solids. One thing I would do is mix it up with her cereal in the mornings, well the fruits at least so that we could get through them a little faster! Another thing that I found worked well for the veggies was mixing them up with mashed potatoes...my daughter loved this!

Yes, I actually served both in the beginning and sometimes mixed the stage 1 with some of the stage 2 foods to thin them out a bit to get my daughter use to the new textures.

As long as she is old enough to take stage 2, then yes, you can give her stages one and two. If you choose not to use the stage ones, you can always donate them to a food bank or women/childrens abuse shelter. There are always people looking for baby food. Good Luck and Take Care!!

Yes, food is food. If she is a good eater and eats her food well then go ahead and let her eat stage two food. If you have lots of stage one food and she no longer wants to eat those then donate them to a hospital or shelter.

I wouldn't see why not, the only difference I find between the two is the stage two has more quantity, to me theres no difference about the actual food.

Of course! There's pretty minimal differences between stage 1 and 2. Basically stage 2 containers are bigger and they have more variety and combination flavors. So there's no reason why you can't use them both :)

Yes, it wont hurt her, the only difference is that stage 2 is a little thicker it helps them when they eat solid foods, but I wouldnt want to waste them either.

Yes, that would be fine, as long as she still wants them. I know sometimes they move on cuz they've lost interest in the first foods, but if she still eats them, go ahead. There's no reason you can't. I used to mix the fruits in with my daughter's baby cereal for breakfast in the morning.

Absolutely! It's no problem to go backwards; you just don't want to go to far forwards.
And here's a little hint to use up leftover jars: slip them into muffin and cake mixes. Just reduce the amount of oil. You'd be surprised - they make the cake very moist and you sneak in a little extra nutrition. You can also drop them into cream soups.
