Just asking and is it is easier to do it as an teen or as an adult and why?

And what is the pro and con of it?

The only way to have the father not be involved is as you said, a sperm bank or to have someone sign away their paternity rights. Why you would want to is beyond me, who is going to be your primary support, emotionally, physically, financially, etc. There are VERY many successful singles mom's out there, but the majority would tell you that it would be easier if the father would be involved, that the children could have that bond and relationship, for their own stress reduction, etc.

Generally it is MUCH easier to become a parent in modern western society as an adult. Teen mom's often has social services down their throats, stigmatisms up the wazoo, difficulty with money and finishing school, etc.

Pro's and Con's of being a single mom or a teen mom? I'm not sure which pro's and con's you're looking for.

Well, I am sort of confused about the question. Are you wondering how you can have a baby without a father? Well, if you don't want to use a sperm donor than you can have a very good friend help you...if you sort of get my drift.

I do not think it would be easier. Every child needs a mother of some sort and a father of some sort. Not a biological mother or father, but someone to look up to as a mom or dad.

Every child needs a father in their life if at all possible. However, that doesn't mean that you have to be in a relationship with them. If the dad just doesn't want to be part of the child's life, of course you can raise him/her alone, and it will be the dad's loss.

Of course it's easier to raise a child as an adult. I don't mean to imply it's easy because it's not, not in any way. Besides, chances are good that as a teenager you would not be able to financially support yourself and a child.

Yep! I did it! He sees them about twice a year (his choice) and I blissfully make all the decisions without having to explain myself to him. On the flip side, I don't have back up for sitters or sick kids or rides to and from places. It is always easier to have children when an adult, and I mean older than 24.

it is a way you can have a baby without the father there bcuz my mom and aunt both are raising ids without our fathers being here.

i think it is hard either way bcuz i can tell my mom gets tired of working but she has 2 for me n my lil bro. but i have teenage moms as friends and relatives and i think its harder on them bcuz they quit school and its hard to find a job.
