How I measure success is by the fact that I raised a wonderful daughter, 1 niece, 2 nephews, gave of my time to my community, selflessly....to causes which mattered throughout my life....I gave of myself for the pure joy I was able to help someone else....and I am still here doing the same thing. NONE of this takes material possessions, ie money, it is what you measure yourself worth....are you happy in your life doing what ever it is at this time in life? If not, dude, take a look @ your life & see what you have accomplished & that is a true measure of yourself & your success.

Family and friends. If ppl want to be around you because of you not your money, fame, power.
If they come to you for advise and counsel, then you have something money will never buy
RESPECT
The reason I know this is because I have friends who are a lot more powerful than I a lowly investigator, I have friends that are lawyers, doctors, etc. who come to me for advise, and to hang out with, thus they respect my opinion about life etc. I give them a view from the average joe as they it.
Hope this helps
