Check the bookstores for 'coffeetable' books, they're large and full of gorgeous photographs. Look for one with pictures you think he'd enjoy (you'll know it when you find it).

Your father probably has the money to buy anything he wants as far as material possessions go, why not get something from the heart - a nice lunch with you and a good long talk. As we get older we often don't get to enjoy the company of our parents/children - my 18 year old daughter and I try to have lunch together 1x a week and this probably means more to me than almost anything else in my life right now - it is so special. It's my dear old dad's birthday today, sadly he passed 15 years ago. If he were here though I'd get him the biggest card I could find probably with a couple of really cute little puppies on the front or something just as gooey and mushy !! It don't matter what you get him, cos it's coming straight from your heart. Just make sure you tell him that you love him and do it in person with a big bear hug and lots of love !!

He has a wonderful child like you so I would say he is all set, but I bet he would enjoy a card and a CD. anything by Stevei Ray vaughn,Eric Clapton, B.B King, Robert Cray.
