Your career path is about the same as your purpose in life. Really, I do not think that any site can fully help you because your own development, your growth, what makes you who you are and will be, is in you. Try to be with yourself, silently meditate on who you are, find what you like and dislike. A good career path is the one that abides with your personality but not necessarily the one paying the highest income. You probably have seen many people who have career changed and job unhappiness is usually at the basis of the change. I hope that my idea could help you as I wish you the best in your future.

I wouldn't be to mechanical about it. Taking this test or that quiz helps, but following one's heart and desires is key. The "experts" have all these studies and evaluations, but many often fall short because their approach is so impersonal.
At what aisle do you stop in the bookstore or library? What catches your interest naturally? What self motivates you without thinking about it? What type of work makes you feel good at the end of the day?
There's no perfect answer right away. It's all a process of uncovering and discovery, because not only does the workplace change with time, but you do too.

I think that the only good that those sites do is to give ideas, if everything had a formula, life would be dull. It's a hard question and people may think it's simple or naive to say, but it is actually profound for you to sort it out with God who has all the concern about your welfare.
Of course, get out and ask people you know about jobs, careers, what they know...
Those little test sites bug me, I think it's stupid, life's great decisions should not be so impersonal and void of life, agghhh.
But anyway, I hope you find something good.

The best advice I could give anyone looking to figure out what they want to do with their lives is this: Sit down and think about what you want to accomplish. Think about your dreams no matter how big or small. Whether it's to become an Actress or a Veternarian. Then take the appropriate steps in that direction. Some of those things are required to go to college. Just take the major that fits the career your looking for. Your guidance counselor in college should be able to help you find a suitable major. You can also get your associates in liberal arts in a community college if you are still undecided on what you want to accomplish. Don't ever base a decision based upon what others tell you to do! Be your own advisor, but that doesn't mean don't take others help or advice. Just always use your own best judgement for the final decisions in anything. If your looking to get into being an Actor or Muscian the best thing I could tell you is avoid going to college, hook up with a band, or get professional pictures done and start looking for auditions. I wanted to be in a band and I regret that I spent the amount of money I did to go to college. I gained more experience for my resume by the things I accomplished by being in bands than I did in college. One thing my mom always tell's me is that you can be or do anything you want in life. Don't let anyone tell you, that you can't do anything.
Also, after going to college, getting fired from several crap jobs, I found myself searching inside for who I am. A spiritual search. After going through many religions from Atheism, to Catholicism, to Buddhism, I ended up coming to Scientology. I find that the courses they offer help to improve your life so much, and beats going to any college with the things you learn for the amount you pay in donations. Not only that but helps you to find who you really are.
Also, go to www.scientology.com to take a free personality test. After you finish you can go to your local church or mission to get an evaluation with a trained staff member.

There are no problems with privacy. This is the sign in information given to the people in my high school. You won't see anyone else's results and no one will see yours. You take a test about things that you like doing and it gives you 40 career suggestions that relate to your answers. Then, you can take ANOTHER test, this time about skills. It rates you on how well you'd do in the careers that you already got. It also has alot of information about colleges. It's ALL FREE.

yes i can help you dear! go to www.ghost.com coz this is what we all are going to be after being so mean human beings and full of hatred. so you should really take help from it. Just kidding! This is how you should treat ur life with. Always keep smiling, never be rude, always help others, be focussed and try to spread some good message everywhere you go and believe me-then you would not need a path to reach ur goal-goal will come to you.

First there are some questions you should ask your self before go to any web site
What is you major?
Do you want to start at you major study or not?
What skills you have to start your career?
After you answer this question.
go to this web site, it about self assessment about all things in our life, friend ship, family and career, so you can take a tests available at this web site to identify where your strength and weakness, so you should improve your weakness and empower your strength
http://web.tickle.com/
After this step, go to any web site related to recruitment to start your own career.
One last thing you should write cover letter on your resume, because actually this is the first thing the HR read and if it is good, you will have a better opportunity

Go to the Fearless Living website. There will be a link that will take you to life coaches. Go to Juls Foos, and her website will have a link to take an assessment test to determine the career that you are best suited for. It doesn't take long to take, and it's very revealing! Have fun and go for the gold!

I like the Job Occupational Outlook available at most public libraries. They give you the job outlook for a certain industry, what you can expect to get paid, and even some ideas that you would have never considered getting into. You can also access it online at:
