I spent 7 years as an Herbalife distributor. I got involved initially because I had committed to lose a bunch of weight, & a fellow member of our chamber of commerce asked me how I was going to do it. When I replied....."discipline" , she asked if I was familiar w Herbalife products.

That was basically a no response & she explained their weight loss product line. Tho there was no pressure to "sign up" , she also pointed out that being a distributor cost $50 (Ithink that was it at the time) & would give me significant discount savings exceeding that, even if I only used the products myself.

I signed on, & the savings more than offset the cost to be a distributor. I lost a little over 40 pounds over the next few months (3 1/2 -4) , & of course many friends & associates began to inquire how I had done it.

The folks who decided to try some of the products , maybe 3 or 4 , essentially paid for my products w their purchases from me at retail (I pay dist cost)

I never really worked at the business as a business, as I was already operating the insurance agency I owned & giving it 60 hrs a week. However i know a number of folks who have earned a very nice side income by staying committed to their Herbalife business w roughly an hour a day of activity.

I still use the products on occassion, & keep paying the $10 annually to get product at cost...tho I guess it's now been 3 years since I last renewed !!

The good news is that if I called them today, they would allow me to renew my distributor status just by paying the last few years I have missed.

You can certainly do this w a full time job & develop some decent income after a few months.

Drop me an email w any additional questions. I'll do my best to answer . Budman

Hi, I'm also interested in any feedback on this thread as I have just signed up as a distributor. I'm happy to keep you updated with how things are going and if it turns out to be as good as it sounds.
