Sex is allowed throughout the entire pregnancy (UNLESS your doctor specifically tells you NOT to have sex) otherwise sex is completely healthy at any point in the pregnancy...in fact a lot of people have sex to induce labor at the end!

You just have to get creative in positions so that you can work around your huge belly! For me, sex is just plain uncomfortable (vaginally and the fact that my belly gets in the way) so my husband and I have essentially stopped having sex...but it's for personal reasons only...not because sex is harmful during pregnancy.

You won't hurt the baby! Don't worry. However, if you do feel any pain or discomfort then stop having sex...don't push yourself :) Talk with your doctor about sex during pregnancy...He or she will be able to put your mind at ease.

Sex during pregnancy is perfectly fine as long as you are not an extremely high risk pregnancy. Your doctor will have told you right away if sex isn't allowed. As long as the doctor allows you to have sex then there will be no ill effects to your unborn child.

Because of the change in hormones and increased blood flow to that region of your body you may find sex even more enjoyable than it was pre-pregnancy. Many women have their first orgasms when they are pregnant for this reason. It can be a little awkward in the later months but with a little planning and practice, still very pleasant.

ENJOY!

Yes sex is allowed during pregnancy and there isn't much of a chance that it will affect the baby.

Absolutely. With a normal pregnancy, you can keep doing it right up until your water breaks. Do check with your doctor or midwife first if you've been treated for premature labor or if you're having any problems with your pregnancy, such as a shortened or dilated cervix, leaking amniotic fluid, placenta previa, or bleeding, or if you have a history of miscarriages. There are some instances when you should avoid having sex.

But as long as your pregnancy is normal, you won't hurt the baby by making love, even with your partner on top. The thick mucus plug that seals the cervix helps guard against infection. The amniotic sac and the strong muscles of the uterus also protect your baby. Though your baby may thrash around a bit after orgasm, it's because of your pounding heart, not because he knows what's happening or feels pain.

Sex is allowed during pregnancy and will not hurt the baby at all. But just a heads up - some men aren't into having sex with pregnant women especially when you really start to get big. (On the other hand, some men don't mind at all.)

Sex during pregnancy is fine..it will not affect the baby at all. The only time you cannot have sex while you are pregnant is if your OB tells you to stop.

It's safe to have sex during pregnancy, and it won't harm the baby. The baby is protected in a sack during pregnancy and sex will not hurt the baby.

Sex does not harm the baby. As long as you are not having any complications with your pregnancy, it is perfectly fine to have sex throughout your pregnancy. Many women notice an increase in sex drive during their second trimester.

I had the same question not too long ago.
GO FOR IT. It may be the best you have ever had. As you get further along, positions that make you more comfortable will help. Check yahoo and do a search for "sex during pregnancy" and you will find many articles on positions etc.

there is nothing wrong with sex during pregnancy as long as the doctor says that its ok. if one is a high risk pregnancy, then no it is not recommended. but otherwise, you have the green light the entire 9 months. as long as hurting the baby, no such thing. the amniotic sac that the baby is in gives it a lot of protection. no worry...
