My friend is going to attend a gala dinner with a cultural theme. She's thinking of wearing a costume thats different n rare but yet give a wow impact. any ideas?

It depends, what culture? You could wear a traditional swahili costume that is culturally correct, but wear it to a British Victorian era culture event and look like a fool.

I prefer Norwegian bunads, but don't think they're easy to get. Most are handed down from generation to generation. there are several to choose from, so maybe she could make something that looked like one.

A man in a kilt melts my heart... For a lady - I think those German outfits are pretty sexy. (That's what I'd wear!)

german costumes are sexy. seriously... the german bars with live music... always have ppl drooling over the ppl in costumes.
