My project is demonstrating the right hand rule with the use of parallel and anti parallel currents through metal rods. Im using a car battery as a power source. (12V) BUt it doesnt work. Maybe its the low voltage... ANy ideas on how am I gonna make it work?

Or maybe the rods aren't close enough.

It is hard to know without seeing your experimental setup. Perhaps the force of attraction or repulsion will increase if the rods are nearer (without touching) and the longer the rods the stronger the total effect. The rods must be free to move (perhaps suspended vertically like pendulums beside each other. Insulation can avoid electrical contact without preventing the effect. Perhaps 12v light bulbs in series with the rods would limit current to safe levels. Please be careful to not short out a 12v battery that could explode and throw acid. Use eye protection too.

Perhaps you might want to try getting rods which are lighter? I think copper wires might be good enough. The voltage from your battery should be large enough, but beware of the current (can get electroculated).
