I just finished it and it was interesting. I have read Hannibal before and there was a lot of action and suspense, Hanibal Rising had less of that it is more like a background story of his early life. There are still murders and what not its just not as fast paced. You come to learn a lot about why he is the way he is and its disturbing (as is anything having to do with hannibal lecter right?). All in all it was a slow book and i expected more, but i would say its worth reading...but it wasnt the best book i read.

The Silence of the Lambs stands on my own and you do not ought to be sure the rest. pink Dragon which precedes it purely has Hannibal Lecter in in peripherally, and after attempting to be sure "Hannibal" i will say that i don't think of the comparable guy wrote it. the form is misguided. Hannibal is misguided. Starling is misguided. And the entire plot is going for horror quite than the construction suspense and terror of the quicker books. Authors do enable others post below their names for motives of their own. i think of he became into in all probability bored with the sequence and did not choose to jot down anymore. in case you think of i'm incorrect, study Rex Stout and Carolyn Keene (of Nancy Drew repute) there have been approximately six or greater Carolyn Keenes. of direction in those 2 situations the authors had died and it became into their heirs and estates who made the deals. the unique Carolyn Keene became right into a guy and whilst he died his daughter took over for years. After that it became into apparently purely a solid of writers that the writer employed who did not even hassle to be sure the quicker books and made many errors that have been fairly annoying to authentic Nancy Drew aficionados. And, of direction, Margaret Mitchell's heirs offered the rights to long previous With the Wind so as that the sequel "Scarlett" ought to be written, very badly.
