A lot of post offices don't make a charge for this, and some travel agents too, just have to look around your high street

The post office does not exchange money. Go to your bank. The branch you frequent might not do it, so you'll have to go to the main branch. Anywhere else will charge a fee of some kind. However, it's better to wait til you get to the country you're going to visit to get a better rate. I went to England in September and waited til I got there to exchange my money. I went to two different places and the second didn't charge a fee.

if you mean the UK post office then this is the best rate going period........also any unused monies, they will buy back at the same rate [i believe] as they sold it to you.............not sure about that as I have never had any cash left over lol lol
Also look into their medical insurance as this is also one of the best going, at a pretty good rate IMO and if you are coming to the USA you MUST have really decent insurance just in case..............
