My gf came out later in life and I am scared she will get curious and leave me--it's been 10 years, but I still worry that she might want to try being with other women......she has only been with me................

Women do a lot of things later in life, but you have a ten year investment in your relationship. If you are not feeling secure after all that time, you two should really talk about it, even with a mediator or therapist. Good luck.

I came out at the age of i believe 25. I honestly didn't know I was a lesbian, i did have crushes on my teachers and one of my childhood friend but it never really clicked, until i i saw this one girl and was extremely attracted to her. And Wahlaa I was out.
Its been 7 years for me since Ive been out...i did end up leaving her and began to taste the rainbow so to speak...only got to 3 colors tho...but i stuck with the one i love!
What I'm trying to say is there is gonna be some curiosity and wanting to go and see what else is out there. It all depends on your girl on how committed she is to you.

Maybe they realise they are gay much latter in their lives.
If you love her, then you don't have to be scared, you have to be happy she came out to you! That means she loves you and she respects you! And if she wants to try being with other woman one day, then, there is nothing you can do about it! You can just be happy for her! cause LIVING A LIE IS NOT LIVING AT ALL!!! So, maybe you should try to put yourself in that position, and maybe you should try to understand her!!! You'll see, then you won't be scared!
Good luck!

Same reason some guys come out later in life. It takes time for people to figure out why they feel a certain way, and there are many social and familial roadblocks in their way.
