The two end products of this equation are carbon dioxide (co2) and water. I found the element that is first in balancing this equation, It is carbon,,, Now When you have finished balancing the equation number !, which chemical or element will have the largest number of molecules in your balanced equation?

Oxygen. Here's the balanced equation

C3H8 + 5O2 = 3CO2 + 4H2O

As you can see, O2 has the highest coefficient, and therefore the largest number of molecules.

so your unbalanced reaction looks something like:

C3H8 + O2 --> CO2 + H2O

so the first thing you do is balance the carbon

you see that you have 3 carbon atoms on the left side and 1 on the right, so you can change the right side to balance the carbon, which gives you

C3H8 + O2 --> 3 CO2 + H2O

now that your carbon is balanced the next element to balance is hydrogen. you can see that you have 8 hydrogen atoms on the left and 2 on the right, so you can balance out the right side like:

C3H8 + O2 --> 3 CO2 + 4 H2O

now, when you add it up, you have one molecule with 3 carbon atoms on the left, and 3 molecules with 1 carbon atom the right. You also have one molecule with 8 hydrogen atoms on the left, and 4 molecules with 2 hydrogen atoms each on the right, so the total number of hydrogen and carbon atoms is balanced. All that is left is oxygen. You can see that because of the changes on the right side you have 10 oxygen atoms there. 6 of them in the carbon dioxide molecule, and 4 in the water molecule. While on the left you have a single diatomic oxygen molecule, so to balance the oxygen you increase the number of diatomic oxygen molecules on the left, giving you.

C3H8 + 5 O2 --> 3 CO2 + 4 H2O

and you can check everything out to see the equation is entirely balanced. Once you've done that, it's obvious that O2 has the largest number of molecules in the equation at 5. C3H8 only has one, CO2 has 3, and H2O has 4. So O2 has the largest number of molecules.

The reaction is combustion. The reactants are Propane and oxygen.

C3H8 + 5O2 = 3CO2 + 4H2O

Oxygen will have the largest number of molecules

this is a classic combustion reaction. In any combustion reaction, this is easiest to stability out C first, then H and Oxygen final. it will make your existence lots much less stressful balancing so as of C, H and O.
