what is wrong with dr. burke's hand that he cannot do alot of the surgery and christina keeps covering up for him?

The correct answer is scar tissue pressing up against the neves in his arm. Derek went back into the arm and removed the scartissue and the tremors disappeared. If it had been nerve damage they would not have been able to repair it so easily.

You are speaking of Grey's Anatomy and Dr. Burke did something along time ago (that was a rerun) to his hand and injured the nerves. He had surgery on it and it will be fine in a week or two

he got shot and got nerve damage. they though his whole arm was going to be paralyzed, but he was lucky and regained most of it, including his hand. he keeps getting cramps in it though and he doesnt want to tell sheppard because it will dissapoint him. so he lets christina cover for him and hopes that it goes away. however, (spoiler) in the past few episodes, he had it checked out by sheppard, and its getting better.

I think it's when he got shot and Mcdreamy was doing the surgery and he had to wake him up to move it...I think he messed up? I could be wrong.

its ok now, McDreamy did surgrey on it after it hit the fan, when Geogre's dad had cancer, but burke had a slight stroke, and he hid his tremors
