Ouch, I suggest that next time you want to try to do your nails yourself, do it on a day off. It is not easy! Honestly the only way to clean the rest of the acrylic, is to soak them in acetone. If you don't have any, try nail polish remover with actone. If your remover doesn't have acetone, don't even try, it won't do anything. You could always file the rest off, to where you can at least go to work and then see a professionnal to remove what is left, with sterilized instrument. They have liquid medications tha they will put on your wounds if any. Next time instead of trying to do a full set by yourself, get them done at the salon first and refill them yourself, while you are watching TV before you go to bed or something ( a couple of hours) You will learn better that way, at least to apply the accrylic so next time you want to try a full set you will know the trick.

Good luck, cuz' I know it's painfull.

If I were you I'd leave it as it is. The same thing happened to me before, and I went to a nail salon to get the rest of the acrylic off and I caught an infection because the equipment the salon used wasn't sterilized. Just leave the acrylic on till the nail beds heal, just make sure you disinfect them often by dipping your finger tips in hydrogen peroxide. If you still would rather go to a salon, make sure they sterilize their equipment and use new emery boards. Good luck girl, I know the pain you're going through.

You should always soak and gently remove not force false nails off for the reason you just mentioned.

If possible take the day off work and go see a doctor.

I do not know what you do for work but chances are if you are in the service industry , you can not work with your nails in this state.

Tell your boss you are sorry but you have to tend to a medical concern.
A doctor or certified ecstitician can give you advice.

Next time leave it to the professionals. not all that expensive when you consider the alternate.

DO NOT use acetone or nail varnish if they are inflamed and open there is nothing that a nail bar can do for you now you need to get them looked at by a doctor or nurse as you have brokon the skin DO NOT use any chemical on them in less you use some thing like tcp or detol it will sting like buggery but it will help fight against infection seek medical advise NOW. i am a beauty therapist and know what i am talking about good luck hope they get better soon but do seek medical attetion.

I would try to get hold of some acrylic nail remover,, or you could just try nail varnish remover (which may sting in the cuts that have formed)

Your best bet would be to get yourself down to your nearest salon and ask for help! but this means you may be late for work..

Hope this helped!! Good Luck

See a dr. It sounds like a nail infection. Usually you would soak them in nail polish remover but that is going to kill! Soak them in water to get them soft but still it seems like an infection get help. Go back to the person who put them on and see what she says.

you should have taken them off with that acrylic nail remover. but since you didn't... sorry to sound like a mom. call a nail salon or just walk in and they will tell you what to do. good luck!

ouch. normally to get them off you should soak them in acetone. if you get them done in a nail bar then they use a stronger acrylic, so if you have bought these for home use then try nail varnish remover. its gonna hurt like hell though. you could try filing the bits off with an emery board.

I would suggest you go to have your nail problem taken care of professionally. I wouldn't go to work today. Get the nail problem taken care of ASAP before you end up with a bad infection. Good luck!!!!

My eyes are watering just reading you question!!! You need to get this seen to quickly, look up the number of a professional nail bar and ask their advice, or visit one if you have one close to you.

You may have to be a little late for work, good luck!!!
