Look, SOOO many people have to deal with the same thing as you, my dad works for the government, I lived in Maryland from when i was 4-12. After that i moved to Thailand, where i was born and where my mom is from. I go to an International school. I made friends the first day i went to school. It will be really scary, but make sure you show who you are right away and don't sit in a corner and be miserable people aren't being friends with you. You'll find that, there are the same types of people everywhere you go, and you'll find friends that you like to be around. I know it sounds like something a parent would say on a movie or something, but actually...it's true. P.S. Don't count on changing your parents' mind.

When I was 17, my family moved during my senior year of high school. That was very hard, and I had many of these same feelings. It felt like I was not going to meet anyone, or fit in to my new school. I did eventually find some friends, and ended up with a group of people to hang out with. My advice is to hang in there, because you are going to meet lots of fabulous new friends, and you will find your place in your new school. Keep in touch with your other friends from your previous school, but enjoy the new experience!

Lots of kids go through what you're going through. Think of the kids whose parents are in the military & they have to change schools all the time.
I know its scary, I've been there too, more than once. But you will adjust and make new friends. Don't let it overwhelm you right now. Enjoy the time you have left in your old school & then over the summer think of ways to be outgoing & make new friends.
