I woke her up this morning after she had slept for almost 13 hours. When she is awake, she seems pretty happy. She doesn't have any other symptoms except her appetite has been a little bit less and she has a runny nose. Is this serious enough to take her to the doctor, or could it be something simpler?

I would say everything is fine. She could be going through a growth spurt or just finishing one and she needs the extra sleep. Take advantage of this time and take the well deserved time for you. If your baby is sleeping through the night, she's not getting too much sleep during the day. If she starts to wake up then you start to worry. The running nose and loss of appetite could be as simple as some of her teeth getting ready to come out. If she doesn't have a fever and if she's happy continue what you are doing because it is defenitly working.

Congrats and enjoy your little one cause they grow up too fast

I'm sure everything is fine, I would kill for a couple days of that. My 4 month old was up 4 times last night and then I had to be up with my two year old at 7!!! Keep an eye on her if she gets a fever then maybe take her to the doctor, but as long as she is happy and is still getting enough formula I would not worry. Relax get caught up on your sleep!

I'd take her to the doctor but if you want to save the trip, at least call your pediatrician and relay her symptoms to the receptionist that answers the phone. If they don't call you back within a couple of hours, take your baby to the doctor. (If it's enough to worry you, it's worth taking her to the doctor.)

You could call your doctor and ask them if it is ok, but i would say aren't you lucky your daughter sleeps so well especially at 7 mnths old.

with a runny nose, and light appetite, she may be getting a cold.
Watch for a fever.

But, if she needs sleep, let her have it.

Very normal, just enjoy it while it last because the older she gets the more active she will be, with more awake hours.

Let her sleep if she shows no other bad signs.
