When was the last time you dropped something in the toilet.....?

Other than what you are SUPPOSED to be dropping in there?

And what was the object?

A cell phone, three years ago. The thing is, the phone fell in and I didn't notice since it must have slipped out of my jeans back pocket, so I went all over my place looking for the phone and never found it, until six months later when the toilet started acting up, not flushing.

The plumbers came and showed me the culprit, in a ziploc bag...it went directly to the trash.

O gosh the last time I dropped something in the toilet was just very recently actually. Somehow I managed to drop my only lighter in the toilet but luckly the water was clean. I went in the kitchen and grabbed a big spoon and fished it out with that. I later on gave the lighter to someone else when it died out in exchange for a new one. They didn't know though it dropped in the toilet, lucky for me. It grossed me out too much to use it.

How in the world do I tell you this story without totally repulsing you? lol *shrugs* No idea......... but here goes.

It was at the end of July. I was heading down to the Keys on a school trip. I sat on my sunglasses and just just snapped the lens right out of them. I tried like the devil to get it back in. It wouldn't go. So my boss happened to have an extra pair and said I could borrow them. We're talking nice Oakley glasses. But the important fact I have to add is.......... my boss is a germaphobe. I mean....... she's so bad that this is a fact known (and laughed at by all that we work with) If you go to her and tell her you aren't feeling well and need a day off. She literally steps back 5 paces, tells you to set your lesson plans down and back away..... then she lysols the papers before ever picking them up. She washes her hands 50 times a day. Brushes her teeth I swear every hour, and picks up objects using a hanky.

Back to the story......

We stopped at a rest stop and I go inside to use the rest room. Of course it is dark inside so I take the glasses off and hang them on the front collar of my shirt. I *cough* do my business, turn to flush and **PLOP**.

My heart stopped merely because I knewwwwwwwwwww how my boss would just freak out. Then two seconds later, a smile washed over my face and I just laughed.... just sat there in the stall laughing my head off at the irony.

Long story short...... I found ways to rescue the glasses...... santized them under scalding hot water and never told her the story. Let's just pray she's not an anonymous figure here on Y!A. *wink*

Stuff from the shelf falls into the toilet all the time. I can't remember the last thing. I just know it wasn't a toothbrush.

I can't remember for me - but my husband dropped a razor a few months ago - he then proceeded to try to flush it, it got stuck and he had to remove the toilet - get the razor unstuck.... you get the picture - it was pretty funny (although he didn't think so)

we have a very small bathroom and I drop everthing in it all the time. Ponytail holders, make-up, One time I dropped a small screwdriver but didn't notice until I flushed and down it went, my husband was not happy.

I had my wallet full of money in my back pocket. And when I was about to pee, my wallet slipped out of my pocket and into the toilet :( I had to get it out though, I can't leave that much money in the toilet, I just had to lay my money out to dry.

I accidentally dropped my husband's toothbrush in the toilet yesterday morning. Then I accidentally forgot to tell him. I accidentally forgot to throw it out too.
