Why don't women ever admit...opinions please?
Why don't women ever admit?
to the number of sexual partners they have been with. And when they do it's like 1 or 2...and that's even a lie. It's like women don't count one night stands, I was drunk, I was on vacation, oral sex, if it wasn't good, if the guy was a jerk....none of those count in a woman's calculations. So, you can always double if not triple the amount that a woman admits to. Correct?

If what happened before a relationship does not matter, then why not admit it?
Why do women dance around this. It has nothing to do with insecurity, it has to do with honesty.
If a man ask you how many men you boinked, he is asking to see if you will be honest, not because he really wants to know.

I know I am making broad generalizations, so if this does not apply no need to respond. But you prove my point. The only women that tell are the ones that say "1 or 2".

I haven't had 10 sexual partners!! I do admit to the number of sexual partners that I do have, which is closer to 10 than 1 or 2, but quite frankly none of your business. Hmm, maybe 10 if you count same sex experiences, but yup, my partner knows about those too!
I also do not think that it's really my partners business how many sex partners I've had, but I offered to tell him just for fun. We were simply comparing past sexual experiences we've had. If for some reason sex wasn't an easy thing for me to talk about or I considered it a very private and very personal act, I would have refused to answer the question instead of lying about it.
The reason that some women lie about the number of sexual partners they have is because society considers women who enjoy the physical pleasures of sexual intercourse in a negative light. These women while on a personal level may not be ashamed of their behaviour, may feel as if talking about it gives them a bad reputation. There's a stigma involved. Asking this question perpetuates that stigma.
Show a woman that you're open about sexuality. That you believe in feminine sexuality and appreciate the fact that women enjoy sex just as much and often in the same ways that men do. Then maybe your partner will begin to trust you with her own sexuality and maybe discover a little something on the way!
It's sad to hear a woman say something like, "I only have sex because my husband needs it. He's a man with needs and I love him." 'Cause I know she's missing out and in a few years, that husband won't be getting any! She's too ashamed to enjoy sex because enjoying the physical side of sex for a woman is considered skanky in the eyes of misogynistic men and misguided women.

I disagree first of all. I've never lied about how many sexual partners I've had (and I'm a woman). However, I do honestly see your point. I do have friends who don't count the bad ones or oral sex, so I feel you on that. But sex is two different things to men and women. If there was little or no emotion, fulfillment, satisfaction or interaction then it doesn't count to some women. Why? I don't know. I count all of mine!

Women "dance around it" because there is still a double standard for us. Not all guys are guilty of it, but most are. It is OK for a guy to have, say, 10 partners before they get married. But if a woman were to have that same amount, they would be looked at like trash. Guys still look like the studs, women still look like the sluts.

Women LIE!! It is as simple as that. They are just as slutty as any man. How do I know? Unless you are gay you have to have someone to sleep around with. I read an interview with a male stripper that put it very simply. He said that there were women in the audience that would catch you outside leaving the show and have him in the back of a Mercedes. Later if he saw the same biyotch in a bar she acted like he did not exist. Any man over thirty usually knows this.

No, incorrect. You have obviously been bitten and think all women are like that one. Not so!! You wouldn't want me to lump all men into the same category would you? No. People are different and are individuals with morals or the lack thereof.
You can find an honest and forthright woman if you dare. We are here and we don't have tire tracks running up and down our backs either!! @8-)

If you're secure in your relationship, HOW MANY shouldn't matter. It's a question that I never asked my husband, and one that I wouldn't expect him to answer.
What we did before we met doesn't matter. It's what we do from the moment that started dating that matters.
My husband had no STDs and no kids from a previous relationship. That was all I needed to know.
To answer your question, though, I wouldn't lie. I would just say, "It's none of your business", because it's not.

I can admit to 10 sexual partners.
My husband knows about all of them drunk or not.
There may be a few more that I do not remember. I was kind of wild in my college days.
However I have always been honest about my sexual relationships. Why hide it?

Not true, I always tell the Truthh, but I don't count oral sex.
I think a lot of woman don't tell the trut because a lot of men can't handle it...they want their woman as pure as possible..is all very archaic if you ask me.
OK...6 without the oral sex...otherwise 10

I was completely honest with my husband. Of course, I was 40 when we started dating, but I had 13. He was kinda shocked, he said he only had five, but he was married for 16 years prior to meeting me.
I had a friend that told her husband she had slept with 52 guys, give or take. He never really quite got over that, and when they finally divorced, he asked is she was going back to prostitution. So maybe that's why?
