The human race has finally destroyed itself, the planet Earth desolate, the animal kindgom having free reign over the lands, occasionally glancing at the stone monoliths, the enormous buildings left behind as mankind's legacy. Suddenly, there is a shadow cast upon the ground. An enormous circular spacecraft descends from the heavens, an alien race has arrived to study these ancient artifacts left behind by Earth's one-time owners.
Now, what will they do?
a) Discover Keats, Pathos, Homer, Nietze, Kafka and other geniuses of our short stint here on Earth and, so enthralled by the brilliance of these artists, use their alien technology to resurrect the humans and share with us their knowledge of the universe, immortality and unifying love?
b) Discover the internet, look up Yahoo! Answers and decide it's safest just to be on their way?

In a million years time the earth will be just a big burnt up wad. No life will exist bc we will all have burned up by then bc the ozone layer will be completely gone. :(
