I would make him take me to court if he wants to see them.

First I would like to say that should have not walked out on you and your 2 girls. He really should have been there for you and them as they have now grown up to be mature women. I am not sure of the situation but, I must say that you should let him see them and to spend time with him. But before you do that you should have a talk to your two daugther's and let them know that he do or saying anything I mean anything to them that is not appropriate. Then to tell you. You need to lay some ground rules. If you have too, make sure that they have a cell phone on them just in case. If you have too honestly you should just go with them when they decide to go out. But is the man was on drugs before he left yall, then you need to take it to court. Unless he can prove that he is clean and is making the improvements in his life. (Job, Place, etc.) But I really hope that it works out.

it may be time to get some professional advice about your children's safety, feelings, and for you to get legal advice as well. relationships with parents are important for children. children need to have a safe enviroment with their parent. losing a parent, because they walked off, is traumatizing to children, parents in and out of their children's lives, is damaging. you have tons of things to consider right now, get the professional advice in what to do.
