They aren't going to make the playoff as they simply are no better than an 8-8 team and third in their own division. They haven't made the acquisitions they need to improve and the loss of defensive leadership in Porter will be sorely missed. They will be competitive but Tomlin can't change from 3-4 to 4-3 and be successful with the set-up the Steelers currently have. Their strength is in their linebackers and secondary, not the D-line. The AFC is too stacked for them to get a wild card even with a weaker schedule than last year.

11-5. The Steelers (hopefully) will have a healthy Ben & will settle the big RB question before trainning camp. The defense will be fine , but will need some depth at LB. Harrison will fill in for Peezy & do a good job. Tomlin will make some style changes, but nothing radical. Look for the Steelers to throw a bit more, especially to the TE.

The Steelers should do better this year. Big Ben is healthy and Mike Tomlin our new coach knows what it takes to win and go to the Super Bowl. Thats what we are all about, being the first team to win 6. During the draft we need to find some people that will go with our D. This is what we need to focus on since it has taken the most damage. We need a LB to fill in for Porter, but I beleive we will have it done come season play.
GO STEELERS!!!!!

Being a huge Steeler fan and wanting them to have a good year is unrealistic. I think we will finish second in our division. Our new coach has not impressed anyone here in Pittsburgh and he did not impress me in Minnesota.

It all depends on if they can get a big running back to give change of pace, and power on the goalline, and a reciever to compliment Ward. I'm not hating on Holmes, but he reminds me of Plaxico...the potential is there, but is his mind? I'm sure that one of the linebackers we have will fill in nicely for Porter. My question is will they stay 3-4 or go 4-3?
