met this girl at work few months ago- hit it off instantly though she had a bf and i had a gf at the time.

im now single and not looking for another relationship. though i seem to be drawn to this girl. in the last few weeks of my previous relationship i started to get feelings for this girl- and was considering leaving my ex for her.

anyhow i never made a move as i didnt want to be rejected and lose her as a friend. anyhow we were out one night and she turnt around and said when she first met me i was fit. It was a big shock to me as i didnt think she thought of me in that way.

Ive spoke to her about it in such a way that i asked why she said it and what she ment- she said that we are good friends and thats as far as it can go coz she has a bloke.

anyhow was out clubbin last night and saw her bf trying it on with someone else, spoke to her about it today and she said he's been messing about for ages.

do i really like my friend or am i just missing the company of my ex?

when you are very close to someone from the opposite sex it is easy to confuse your paltonic love for something more, especially when you are lonely and craving the attention and feleing of being with a member of the opposite sex, we all want to be loved and knowing how close you two are it seems you may be confusing your friendship for something more.

you should back off and let your friendship be, because you may ruin it if you try to pursue it

If you really like this girl - and it appears that you do - there is nothing wrong with giving it a go. the best relationships are the ones you don't go looking for.
but ... she is with someone else and if she knows he is messing around that probably won't last. so to spare a lot of agro I would wait and see what happens there first. you might not have to wait too long!

If she is not gonna let go any further then don't even worry about it. It could be that you do miss the company. Don't be annoying friendly to her but rather just the guy who looks out for her, since her man doesn't. Don't get all worked up over it.

Doesn't matter. You obviously like your friend. It could be what you're after. Go for it! You won't know unless you give it a run. You're not marrying the girl, just seeing if there's some sort of relationship potential there.

This could be either or to be honest, i'd give it a while see what happens with her bloke and play the waiting game and take it easy you said yourself you're not looking for another relationship so it can do no harm to wait and let nature take its course.

what's something that the two one in all you appreciate doing, the place you the two will experience comfortable? locate that when which purely be honest. do not cover it, tell the guy. you would be shocked that your mate feels the comparable as you do?

Sounds like you might like her - esp as you were interested when you were still with your gf. maybe you should just stay clear and support her til she knows what she wants, then if she dumps him then you can support her as a friend, it might make her see whats she's missing, then you can make your move

It seems you like her, just make sure you are not the reason for their break up because it may turn up nasty for you in future

if you like her as much as it sounds then you should go for it, better to know if she does like you than leave it.
