I agree with practice. Remember this concept, practice makes permanent... Perfect practice makes perfect (or at least very good). Practice your dribbling, the rock should be like it is on a yo-yo. Practice going at different speeds, hesistating, going again, changing direction... put chairs on a court and dribble around them full speed, different angles. Practice shooting off the dribble from a variety of ranges. Your left hand and right hand lay-ups should be perfect. Your free throw shots should be 100% (or close). Shoot them after you practice. Or shoot 15 at the start of practicing, work out, shoot 15 more, finish your practice and shoot 15 more. Play lots of pick up games... the more the merrier. Ask your coach what you can do to improve. Go to open gym everytime you can. If you have some friends to play with , work them. Work with moving without the ball, shooting off the pass, working as a team, etc.

Run like it's fun! After you can run for 20 minutes without being dead tired, start dribbling a basketball while you run. After you can run and dribble (without losing the basketball) for 20 minutes then move to the court for shooting practice. Dribble (while running!) from end to end...you can shoot from wherever you want (layups, 5ft away, 10ft away, free throw line, then 3 point shots).

This is a great way to practice by yourself. If you do this, you'll be one of the best players on the court when the teams are picked.

To be a better basketball player you need a lot of practice. The first thing is stamina, you can't be a good player if you get too tired,i recommend runnin or jogging around the block. The next thing is shooting;it depends what position you are playing. If you play guard then you need to concentrate in shooting, but if you play center, then what needs to be work on is low post and high post, and finally the most important thing is defense,a good baketball player is the one who plays defense.Defense wins championships.Try shuffling your feet and don't jump for everything because you'll get in foul trouble.

Practice, play in pick up games and just work on your ball handling skills. Trust me there is nothing better then the sound of a basketball dribbling in an empty gym

Kobe is a scoring gadget yet, Dwanyne wade and lebron are lots extra humble that i think i say wade lebron kobe. i think of that wade and lebron might have not any concern with scoring 17 a game in the event that they win video games i dont think of kobe is that way i think of he might relatively hit forty two factors then win some video games. and genuinely i'm a laker fan so
