Let's use the example of a loved one. In my case he is not dead, just out of the country. The first 2 months, I cried like a baby and woke up in a fetal position every day. But after a while, its like, life goes on. You get used to the fact that the person is gone. You can talk to them on the phone, but it just isn't the same. I just started putting all my trust and faith in God that he will bring him home safe, and I try to keep from getting depressed by doing things that make me happy.

I have at terrible short-term memory.
