Bush is bad enough, but Cheney certainly hasn't helped his cause. Examples: He still insists Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, shooting insident, Scooter Libby.

As it stands Cheney is taking a lot of heat due to no-bid contracts, the scooter Libby fiasco, his frequent medical issues and shooting his friend in the face. He is a public relations nightmare, however he has a long standing history in politics. He has served under Nixon, Ford and both Bushes.
The republican party rely upon Cheney's history and knowledge of the political forum to dictate policy. There is no way he is leaving as he is a key member, and possibly the most experienced politician the republican party has.

How do you know IRAQ doesn't have WMDs we still haven't found all the mass graves yet either. But I bet there are many. The shooting incident was a accident. The guy that got shot isn't mad .Why are you? And for Gods sake quit watching CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBS you will never get the truth.

Sure, and then he could ask Condi to be the VP. She could then be a shoe in for the Republican nomination. That would make the '08 elections VERY interesting no matter who the Democratic Party nominates.

Shooting incident: Hmmm, Clinton had a shooting incident also. It left a stain.
Scooter Libby: He was convicted for false statement and perjury. Now Bill wasn't convicted but he made a plea to save his booty.

No. Cheney is just ill, not dying, and he is not Scooter Libby. Do you have proof Dick Cheney committed a crime? Or is it speculation from a Bush hating Liberal? If you know something the rest of us don't, please share it.
