If I go to Windows' "Manage" & right click my flash on order to delete FAT32, the 'Delete' option is not highlited or applicable making it impossible for me to delete the FAT. What else can i try to remove FAT on a flash. All suggestions provided work very well on hard disk drives but not flash disks. Hurri or Boot Malmo is sitting on FAT32 of my flash & I believe that if i remove the FAT, the virus will simply go as well. Please help with other suggetions. Most Anti-viruses tried can detect it but cant pull-it-out!

Insert your flash drive into your computer, double click on "My Computer." Find your flash drive among all the other drives, right click on your flash. In the drop down menu, there will be a "format" line. Click it. Click on capacity and make sure it is set to the max. Click on a "file system" and change it from what the current setting is. Make sure that the allocation size is set to default. DO NOT CHECK QUICK FORMAT! Then click start.

This will format your drive and let you start from scratch with a blank drive. If you changed from FAT32 to FAT, then make sure you change it back, by doing another format just changing the file system.

Thanks,
Charlie

Insert your flash disk into the computer. When it shows up as a drive. Right click it and select Format. Reformatting the Flash disk should remove (overwrite) everything on it.
