Yes. This girl I used to work with. Her husband worked with us too and she would tell us things about their...AHEM...personal life. Neither of these people are remotely attractive and the thoughts and things that got put in to our heads were just not good. Really, you could start gagging!!
BUT sometimes she'd tell us funny stuff like how he slept with a winnie the pooh stuffed animal until some time after they got married and he was like in his 20's! HA HA HA!

Yes - a friend of mine recently had a breast reduction. When I saw her for the first time, obviously I asked how it all went, she said it was all OK but a bit painful, etc etc, and then she said 'the only trouble is I can't wear pale coloured tops at the moment because the scars haven't quite healed yet and they're leaking pus with blood in and it seeps through my clothes'.
We were out to lunch at the time. Lovely thing to hear while you're eating.

Yes. Lots of people annoy me, but best key is to be able to become assertive yourself, protect yourself without going aggressive.
Believe me, welcome to the world.
In my case here are the people who tell me thinks i would WISH they just SHUT UP.
Mother in law
Father in law
Sister in law
Brother in law
Sister
And imagine, they are people I have to face for the rest of my life! If they were just friends, things would have been so much easier, ironically, I get along with all my friends and they are nothing but great people in my life.
My philosophy you should tell someone who hurts you is this:
'What you don't want others to do to you, you do not do to others, just shut up and get on with your own life'
- but this is more aggressive version... so think kinder way to approach.... good luck!

Yea my friends always does it to me, she is going out with a MUCH older guy, there is about 35 year age gap,
Personaly i don't like him he gives of a perve Vibe. she often tells me what they get up to in the bedroon, which freaks me out completely, and lets just say if very flexable for his age, i dare not scare yous with mental images, LOL
But i haven't the heart to tell her i don't want to know as she will think that i'm either jealous or that i don't care about her, as a friends so i have learn just to nob and keep saying yes.
It works most of the time

Yes, maybe I didn't like the news but I needed to hear it. I think you should be a better listener and ask yourself if you could perhaps be a nicer person also. People can get tired of bad news and malicious intentions. @80)

Oh, I know what you mean. I wish my best friend had not told me that she was sleeping with her fiance's best friend, who he has known since they were kids. She finished it before xmas but I cannot look at her in the same way now and I have lost some respect for her. I thought she had morals, shi&&&&g on your own doorstep is out of order.

Yes. People, both ones I know and ones I don't, seem to feel exceedingly free to tell me very personal things about themselves that I could have gone the rest of my life without knowing. But, I figure it makes them feel better, and that's okay by me.

my friends constantly share too much and go into way too much detail with stuff I really don't need to know about. Also I know a few people's secrets that I wish I didn't cos I just want to go up to people and say 'you'll never guess what I know about (insert friends name here) ...'
