None of them are virus free but I like Limewire the best. You can download it at:

In terms of viruses, I would just be selective of which ones you download. Make sure that there are many other peers downloading as well as you, and that is a good sign that it is safer. Also, download your files to another partition on your computer, or even another hard drive. Then constantly monitor that drive using an ant-virus software.

Personally i would choose limewire, If you have good virus software it should detect anything trying 2 come through, and stop it. But i strongly suggest you have good software before you use it...

the best is using torrents but you have to know how to search...
i use imesh as well, it's very good.
